Mesoscopic Cohesive Crack Model of Microcapsule Self-Healing Concrete and Its Uniaxial and Triaxial Compression Simulation

Abstract: In practical engineering structures, concrete is usually under a multiaxial stress state. Therefore, it significant to investigate the mechanical behavior of microcapsule self-healing triaxial compression. this study, three-dimensional mesoscopic cohesive crack model based on element established simulate uniaxial compression tests and conventional with different content. The result shows that when compressive loading reaches , small number microcracks start appear, leading nonlinear stress-strain curve. When loaded near peak point (), internal cracks sample begin increase sharply. Different from in concentrated interfacial transition zone, scattered interior mortar greater confining pressure, more mortar.
